Feb. 22, '05  PR Council Workshop

 

Branding

Denise Anderson of the The Richard Stockton College of NJ, in conjunction with the Public Relations Council of Greater Atlantic City, will conduct a Branding Workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 22nd at the College's Carnegie Building in Atlantic City.

 

The registration fee will be $50 and covers the workshop, a continental breakfast and a catered box lunch.

 

A special stipends is being offered to for interested college students and non-profit representatives. (Click here for stipends details.)

 

Plans for this Workshop are still evolving, but be sure to hold the date open

 and watch this space for future details.

(Note: With this workshop - there will not be a regular monthly luncheon for February.)  .  .
 

March 22, '05  PR Council

Sponsorships and Fundraising
Jennie Ayres, Public Relations Officer for the Atlantic City Free Public Library, will deliver the March program. She's worked with Cape May County and has run her own PR business for years. The title of her talk will be "Sponsorships and Fundraising: From the Recipient AND Donor's Perspective." 

Note: The March meeting will be on the 22nd - a week earlier than usual. Mark your calendars.

Branding

Denise Anderson of the The Richard Stockton College of NJ will deliver a program on Branding for the January PR Council luncheon. Her talk will include both course materials and examples of branding issues currently featured in the media. The presentation will also cover her role as the Vice President of Branding for United Way of Central Jersey.

 

Details will be available on an upcoming PR Council - Branding Seminar / Workshop to be conducted by Anderson, in conjunction with Stockton, at the College's newly renovated Carnegie Building in Atlantic City.

 

The next PR Council meeting is Tuesday, Jan. 25th at Angelo’s Fairmont Tavern.

  - Angelo’s is located at 2300 Fairmont Ave. in Atlantic City. (MAP)

  - Free Parking Lot (Ducktown) across the street.

 

Networking - 12 noon. --  Lunch at 12:30 p.m.

Costs remain the same this year -- Members $20 and guests @ $30.

Holiday Luncheon and Wine Tasting
This month's Council meeting is Tuesday, Dec. 21st at the Rams Head.
Dan Anderson of the Ram’s Head Inn is slated to give an interesting program on wine.

Internet Marketing Strategies
Joseph W. Sharp,  President/CEO - Sharp Innovations, Inc. will deliver this
month's PR Council presentation. Topic points will include: 
  - Internet Marketing; 
  - Nine-step development process from Concept to Solution; and 
  - Discovery Process tips on avoiding common pitfalls in selecting a Web specialist.
