Joe Molineaux is
the Director of The Small
Business Development Center at
The Richard Stockton College of
New Jersey. Joe began directing
the Atlantic and Cape May County
SBDC program for Rutgers
University in 2000 and was asked
to add Cumberland County to his
service area in 2001. In 2003,
Joe helped bring the SBDC to The
Richard Stockton College of New
Jersey and is now hosted by the
college at Stockton ’s Carnegie
Library Center in Atlantic City
.
The SBDC at
Stockton assists businesses and
residents throughout Atlantic,
Cape May, and Cumberland
Counties develop business plans
and packaging financial
information for possible
funding. Each year the SBDC at
Stockton counsels approximately
500 existing and aspiring
business owners as well as
trains over 1000 individuals at
over 50 events and seminars.
Since Joe began directing the
SBDC he has personally assisted
over 10,000 individuals with
counseling and training.
One of Joe’s keys
to success in assisting SBDC
clients is to both inspire and
motivate while providing
realistic options during one to
one counseling sessions and
training seminars. Joe serves
on the Atlantic County Economic
Development Commission and The
South Jersey Economic
Development District Board.
A graduate of The
Richard Stockton College of New
Jersey, Joe works with area
youth both professionally, by
assisting school based small
business initiatives, and
personally, as coach for his
daughters’ community sports
teams. Joe is a lifelong area
resident that enjoys spending
his free time with his wife
Allison, and three daughters
Chloe, Grace and Olivia.
